Xiaomi Mi Pro-HD Review

Xiaomi has been known to bring products to market that pushes the quality to price ratio much further in favor of the consumer. On that note Lets begin this review of the Xiaomi Mi pro HD earphones. The Pro-HD comes in a while unassuming box, that in a retail space can be easily missed as it does not make an attempt to stand out much. Once we open the box we have two compartments, in one we have a soft fabric carry pouch which is nice. Then there is the plastic box that carries all the other goodies. The earphones are presented in similar fashion to what we are used to from Xiaomi. A while back when I reviewed the Piston 3 it presented itself similarly. The earphone is wrapped what Xiaomi calls Silicon Hub Network, words man too many words. Under the hub thing there are three different sized ear tips presented nicely labelled. Lets take a closer look at the earphones. Starting from the jack which is gold plated and the housing is metal as well. Just above the jack there

3x Brainwavz Earphones - Delta, S0 and B200

Brainwavz reached out to me and asked me to look at some of their products. I did not know much about them, only saw the brand name before few times while browsing. I asked them what models am I to look at, they said Delta and one other. And in the beginning I was a bit reluctant, as I get lots of emails to review new earphones, and I politely decline due to time constraints. However, one thing caught my interest, their 3D printed earphones, and I told them about it. They sent me all three, so here we are looking at three earphones from Brainwavz. Intro, First we have the Delta, official price $27.50 Amazon price $22.50 Next we have the S0. Official price $49.50 and Amazon these are going for $44.50 . And finally we have the B200 Version 2, official price is $119.50 and in Amazon they are selling for the same price. These prices has been checked on September 2018, please follow the link to see the most updated price as they change over time. Time to unbox them. Delta first.

Bluedio UFO Headphone review - A powerhouse monstrosity

8 drivers in one headphone, a unique kind of beast.  UFO from Bluedio , a brand name that is gaining in popularity. Because they are making a reputation in for making well constructed headphones without breaking the bank. So, how does this monstrosity sound, lets have a look. The packaging it comes in is well presented, that aims to give a good first impression. As we open there is the hard shell case. From the outside it is very nice. I would definitely note this as a value adding item. Inside we have the headphone folded and an elastic pocket that has the audio cable and the usb cord. On the headphone side there is moulded plastic base for the headphone to fit snug, perfectly. This can be removed if one feels like it. Now onto the headphone. I ordered the red and black edition, there are a few other colours available. Styling, well, these things I tend to not comment about, if it is good looking or not is up to an individual to like. Build quality however, is decent. Eve

Evolution of Samsung Earphones up to the Galaxy S8 / S9

Has Samsung done any better with the earphones they packaged with the S9 series? I have discussed earphones provided by top manufacturers with their flagship phones a few times before. Over the years things have most certainly changed. Good, bad, ugly, lets see. So lets travel in time a little bit. A long time ago I was reviewing a Samsung Tablet. And in passing I made a comment that, the included earphones are half decent. One can actually use them. And then some years went by, in 2016 I made a video about the earphones included with the Galaxy S6 and S7 series. I mentioned that Samsung would ship out over 50 million units of those earphones and collectively it would weigh about 750 tonnes. At the time Samsung tried so hard to copy Apple, that they shaped the earphones a bit oddly. A common complaint was that the earphone, due to its shape did not fit well for many. Others did not have this complain, regardless, there was a clear divide. Hence I made this com
