Earphone Battle - Apple vs Pixel vs Sony vs Samsung vs LG - Which is the best?

In this article we have a battle of the earphones that comes with our mobile. We pin five of the heavy weights of the industry against each other, lets we who surfaces victorious. (This article reflects information and items present up to January 2017) A bit of background. Almost every flagship phone these days brings with them earphones. Traditionally they mostly used to be mediocre. So we often left them in the box in favor of something better or others were just not bothered about earphone’s quality so long as they worked. It is difficult to deduce the percentage of unused earphones, but we have some figures. Approximate sales of smartphones for the year 2015 was 1.4 billion units and on average an earphone weighs about 13 grams. Give or take a little all these earphones would weigh about 18,200 tonnes. To put that in perspective thats like 40 Airbus A380s. Why this is a big deal is that, a massive percentage of all these earphones will never get used and wi...

SJCAM SJ7 Review

SJ7 Star, the camera that takes SJCAM to the 4k territory. Along with the high resolution, the camera offers the regular array of features that is characteristic of SJCAM cameras. So Lets begin with the packaging. From the surface the packaging has the familiar color theme with the concealed security check sticker. This helps the purchaser to check the received item for authenticity. In the box we have a whole range of accessories and SJCAM provides more online if you need it. The accessories themselves are of decent quality as well. The camera comes in the waterproof housing and the waterproof housing comes with two different kinds of back cover, one for deep diving and the other for touch screen operation at shallow depth. Moving on to the camera itself. There is much to be said about the construction of the SJ7. In the previous review I said that the SJ6 was built well, this takes it to another level. To say that the body shell is constructed ...

Andoer V1 360 degree camera

A cheap alternative if anyone is interested in trying. The camera does provide a handy list of features though at expense of video quality. For the price it does appear perfectly serviceable. For further information and samples please view the review video.

SJCAM SJ6 Legend Action Cam

SJCAM SJ6 Legend is here now. While official information looks promising. It always comes down to a real world test to check what they are like, their highs and lows. The following is the review of the SJ6. Enjoy.

SJCAM M20 Action Camera

Brief introduction. SJCAM is a growing name for an action cam manufacturer. The M20 is at the moment one of their latest iteration (as at October 2016). The feature list includes the usual candidates that we expect a camera of this category to offer. Starting from the packaging, what we have is the usual SJCAM styled branding and packaging. And also as with every SJCAM camera that I have come across, the box contains a concealed security code to verify the authenticity of the product. An important detail given that there are knock offs out there and you want your purchase to be safe. Lets take a closer look at the camera. The layout of the buttons are identical to that of the M10+ that we reviewed earlier . Power and action on top and are also exactly the same size. I personally do not like this because some times I mount the camera upside down where the left and right gets confusing. Not a deal breaker but rather a personal annoyance. The other shape as in the 5000x or 5000+...

Inwin 805 Glass computer case

The computer case market is a crowded space. Every manufacturer is attempting to gain attention by doing something differently. In that spirit In Win has come up with cases that uses tempered glass for panels as opposed to sheet metal with perspex windows. The result of using glass for case's surface most certainly brings about that unique feel. The panels are slightly smoked that adds a little bit of style. Overall as far as the case goes there are not too functional aspects that we have not seen before. The total airflow appears a bit positive pressure and all the exhaust work comes down to one 120mm fan at the back. So, what we have is a case that is aimed towards looking unique as opposed to being a performance powerhouse. A moderate build that is sufficient for a reception or office desk where it will be seen and admired is the idea. It certainly has its place in the case ecosystem, its just a matter of checking first if the product as a whole right for the i...
