So how good can a bargain get in eBay?

I have talked to retail shop owners, who told me that sometimes they purchased some stock from eBay to sell from their shop. The bargains in eBay beats wholesale prices often. This did not come as a surprise as we see brand new items going for ridiculous prices either because there was a mistake on the sellers behalf, or the timing was just too off.
