The Tripod

The tripod – a photographer's best friend

While taking pictures for products, there is an instant benefit in using a tripod. One of the primary reason is that pictures end up sharp. Blurry images happen 9 out of 10 times due to shaky hands, generally focusing is done automatically and done quite well by the camera.

slight moyion blur

The picture above would have been a nice one, except there was a slight motion either on camera or the subject. This makes the text a bit blurry. Even in daylight it may happen, thus it pays off having the camera mounted on a tripod.

Les Paul

This image was taken indoors without the use of flash. The exposure had to be long, and that would have made it impossible to get the sharpness if photographed without a tripod.

There are many kinds of tripod out there, but dont let the technicality get to you. Grab a cheap one if your budget is tight, and over time you will know what kind of tripods will be great for what you do.
