Overview
Layout
Your Layout is a key factor to how much success you can have on your sales.
It is important to see things from customer's point of view. Naturally a customer will desire to get a better deal, and to do so he will browse through many different pages. If we fail to catch attention, our chances are slim.
Therefore, I tried something (I'd like to call it the 20 second layout).
We have 20 seconds or less to capture the attention of the visitor, and in that time span we need to deliver as much convincing information as possible, so that the potental buyer may decide to stay with us a little bit longer, maybe even add the item to his or her list.
Here is a quick overview of the plan :
As mentioned earlier, the visitor may not have too much time to read, thus the layout is broken into three stages. The first stage is where there is only the Title, then a big image of the item. The last part of the Stage 1 is some quick text. Really short para or bullet list of why one should buy from you.
Then Stage 2 - Starts with smaller images of the product, a few of them, and a more detailed information about the product.
Finally stage three - which can have more small images and followed by terms and conditions of purchase, and other trivial information.
We will be discussing the layout in more details as we go into details.
