Image Sizes
What image size to use?
With advancing technology, the average user these days are on faster internet connections than what it used to. This allows us to use bigger pictures and different types of media, and allow viewers to download big files, etc. But we can not take the visitors for granted. Mind you, there are many other competitors waiting for the buyer to show up, and if our pages are not loading quick enough, the buyer will simply press the back button, and off he goes. We lost a potential sale.
To keep things simple, lets take three sizes. Lets see now:
Width 150, 350, 500, height, variable to maintain aspect ratio.

Quick note - Can you observe that there is different feel to each size image? |
These are rough guide as to what you might want to use.
The smallest ones can work as thumbnails, the mid sized ones to show various features of the item, and the larger one can be used in titles and end pictures.
